Collaboration Inquiry	Faculty, research scientists, clinicians, and industry partners looking for collaboration
Trainee Inquiry	Postdocs, PhDs, medical students, and Master's students seeking lab placement Prospective applicants are welcome to discuss research interests and fit with the lab and should follow the U-M SoK admissions process. Admitted and current students are welcome to explore research projects, dissertation/thesis opportunities, and independent study aligned with their interests and goals.
Undergraduate Interest	Undergrads seeking research assistant, internship, or volunteer roles Because course-credit opportunities and funded positions are limited, undergraduate students begin with a structured six-month onboarding and training period that includes: Direct mentorship and participation in weekly lab meetings Hands-on training with specialized tools and research methods Opportunities to transition to course-credit or paid positions based on contributions, fit, and available funding
